Jeff Kaufman, PhD, MS, PAS
Jeff Kaufman, Ph.D., is a ruminant nutritionist, comparative animal scientist, and statistician with broad expertise spanning dairy, beef, swine, poultry, and companion animals. His career integrates technical intelligence, research, product development, sales support, and leadership across the animal nutrition and health industries.
Dr. Kaufman’s scientific background centers on dairy nutrition, immunology, functional feed additives, nutritional supplementation, feed formulation, diet evaluation, and advanced data analysis. He has spent his academic and professional career refining practical, evidence‑based strategies that improve animal performance, strengthen product integrity, and support progressive, profitable growth for nutritionists, manufacturers, and innovators.
His philosophy is simple: animal science should be transparent, practical, and commercially relevant—grounded in credible evidence and applied in ways that genuinely improve outcomes in real production systems. He brings a strong network of industry partners that consists of researchers, manufacturers, and technical leaders to help companies elevate expectations, apply credible science, and deliver solutions that work in the field.
Outside of his passion for animal nutrition and health, Jeff is an avid homebrewer, loves to hike and travel, and, most of all, loves spending time with his wife and dogs.
